i always wanted to try this, but couldnt...
if they're patching an item, what if:
you died, let a monster loot it. would the server patch it? or could you login after serverup, kill the monster & loot it back? I think monsters get respawned so it probably wouldnt work.
you died, left it on your corpse. server patches/goes down & comes up. you res/take corpse. did it patch the items in the corpse? im not sure how uo does things like this but i always wondered. i wanted to try it w/ quiver of rages but never did.
