Begin introduction writing script: Hello, my name is Ben. I'm 32 years old and I live in a log cabin (as seen in my profile picture) on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I started playing UO back in 2008 after finishing law school, having recently heard some acquaintances talking about how they played it and that intrigued me because I'd played a couple of the old Ultima games back in high school and I felt slightly nostalgic for them. So I made an account on Pacific and after a month or two I was recruited by Osiris from the Outcasts of Sosaria [O^S], which was basically a trammy guild, but they were good people and taught me a lot about the game. While I was still in O^S I started going to the Yew gate by myself looking for trouble. What I did back then could hardly be considered pvp but I tried. Eventually I got a bit better and joined up with a pvp guild called Malicious Intentions |M| and stayed with them until shortly after their leader, Sargon, left. Then I quit for about a year to make money and pay off my law school debts, but its hard to stay away from UO forever so I'm back now. I've been using easyuo to script lately but it seems like most of the easyuo scripts are at least several years old and if they do work chances are they don't recognize all the new loot types and need some serious updating, which I've been trying to do as best I can on my own, but I got tired of manually entering item ids into old scripts, so I decided to do a google search for uo scripts and landed here. I see some familiar names from Pac here so it looks like this is the place to be. I respect all the work that people put into creating quality scripts and I would love to learn from those more knowledgeable than me so that I too can one day create scripts that bridge the gap between imagination and application.
