Hello everyone,
I just recently found this site while looking up a long forgotten piece of some information or other. I do have to say it is nice to finally find a place that people can discuss just about anything UO related without the constant flaming going on. One does get tired of "What, you cant figure that one out yourself?", to name just a tame forum response from another site.
Anyway, I just returned to UO in December, 2011, after about 5 1/2 years away playing another game. I originally started on Napa back when the server launched, I didn't run Beta, since we were all tied up in Starcraft at the time. I pretty much started over from scratch except for the skills i had retained, (and luckily, 4 soulstones i had in my bank for some reason)
I have to admit, it has taken awhile to remember some aspects of the game, and a bit of a learning curve for all the new content and skillsets available now since I quit the game. It's nice that OSI hasnt over WoW'd the game anymore, and it is really quite enjoyable to play again.
Once again I have returned to scripts for building skills. ScriptUO is new to me, as I have pretty much just used EUO in the past. Wow, originally it was trying to run macros in the game interface, then looping them when the loop program came out. (that was great)! for the time anyway. I work in IT for our local county here, but even so, my script writing is still pretty dusty. I do look forward to learning and using this program, primarily as a result of the great support from other members on the forums.
Anyways, I just wanted to say hello. Time to get prepped for a few champs tonite.
