I'd first start the uo patcher and do a complete file check . I would then create a new desktop short cut to client.exe


(just a sidenote - unhide (uncheck) hide extensions of known file types)

No dice.  Did exactly as described.  Still not showing the skulls.  Enormously frustrating, might do an entire re-install.  Where are macros saved lately, so I don't have to rebuild them for every char?

Okay, now this is bizarre...

Look at the attached image of my search results.  When I open 'client.exe' manually, it brings up UO version 7.0.40.1.  When I load up a character and look in his pack, nothing.  Same if I open a client through EUO.

When I open 7.0.40.1 from the UO patch client launcher, I can see the skulls.  Interestingly, when I do this and THEN open EUO, EUO won't see the client or be able to interact with it in any way.

Okay, so it IS a client issue.  I opened UO from the actual launcher for the first time in forever and could see the skulls.

Where does UO put the most recent client now (filepath) when you update?  I just tried to open that 'client' file in the Electronic Arts directory, and its an old one somehow...which is weird because I thought there was a forced patch...

Hello all -

I am running the most current version of UO, but in the classic client I cannot see either the new skull rewards OR the pedestals from the 17th anniv gifts. 

I could see the obsidian skull earlier, but now I can't.

Thoughts?

I'm glad it still works for everyone.  I can't believe how old that script is now.  It's been around as long as this site has been available.  I kinda forget now how long I had been working on it at UOCoders - it was a few months before the site crazyman stuck a fork in that place.
