Sampire -- thoughts on Weapon Choice

I wanted to get others' opinions on what they think are the perfect weapon choices for Sampires.  I know some people go with Radiant Scimitars for clearing out the Spawn and then change to a Double Axe or Bladed Staff to use on the Boss/Champ.  Some just use Radiant Scimitars throughout.  Also, some use a different weapon for each Champ Spawn depending on the Champ.  Now with this new skill bonus for Imbuers called Reforging, it changes a little on the choice of Weapons.  I still don't understand Reforging... 

The Sampire is my most favorite template to play in the game.

What I used on mine was a black staff for aoe with a slayer property (No need for slayer property on Goblin/Vermin slayer, use tali). And a War Axe for champs. Although some people I know prefer the black staff and mace. Japanese friends of mine prefer double axe and katana.

Also for Vermin spawn, make sure you put spell chan with -1 faster casting to negate the disintegration from slimes on weapon durability.

As you said, I stick with radiant scimitar for spawn and bladed staff for champ. I'm hoping to finish a swords/thrower soon so I can use gargish talwar for spawn and soul glaive for champ.

id go macing, use a black staff for spawn and war axe for champ

you can get 40 ssi on black staffs which is def helpful
