Hello all, I am Kinney42.
I have been playing UO on and off for over 10 years now. Started back in 98 or 99, too old to remember which. There is just something about the freedom you have in UO to do whatever you want whenever you want that has never been matched by any other game. This is why I just can't seem to stay away. I found scripting enhances that freedom 10 fold by automating some actions that would have put my arms in slings by now. I cannot script myself but I have, when needed, made small changes to fix "broken" scripts. Change an ID here, a number there, that kind of thing.
I recently started up my 3 UO accounts again and found a lot of my old scripts don't work anymore. A friend of mine found this site and said he was very impressed with what he has seen in his short time on it. He showed me an example and I immediatly decided I would also be registering on the site.
I have a plethora of characters of all different types. I don't PVP(cause I suck at it), only PVM. You name it, I kill it or have died many times trying, swore at it, retrieved my corpse and recalled away. I enjoy the BOD system these days. I wasn't into it much in the past but with the help of some scripts I am pumping out the filled BOD'S, raking in the rewards and loving it! My favorite UO memory is WAY back in the day when me and 3 friends decided to try killing Semidar with some fighters, just for fun. Little did we know she kicks the crap out of male characters....which we were all using! I laughed so hard as each of us died over and over again, 1 resing the others...the first resed would charge her screaming something dumb to lead her away from the corpses only to die instantly!
I work in IT support for a bank, spend most of my free time playing computer games or watching tv.
