Hello, I am 50 and I have been playing UO since 1998, am I too old to be playing games? this is a question my partner as on occasions as asked me but she is happy with her soaps and I on here. I did have a gap out of one year due to personal reasons in RL albeit strangely UO also had its part.
I have played mostly on the Europa Shard but sometimes I do venture onto others, this lil story shows that it is a small world, not so long ago I decided to visit the Atlantic shard and whilst at the bank there another player recognised me, he had left Europa around 12 monthe before, it was so good to meet him again and to share storys of our earlier ventures in the world.
I do spend alot of time collecting things, not just resources but stealable artifacts and any items during events that come up, I did have quite a collection of items but lost them the last time that I left due to my castle going into IDOC, what a site that would have been as t did have many items in there.
I do miss the old UO with well populated towns and busy areas outside the blacksmiths, I do like keeping it simple and have over the years I have GM'd most skills in the traditional way.
The last one being begging to try for the trick or treats, and having GM'd this skill I googled to try find a script to help me trick or treat and this led me to here, I thought why not, after all the years of slow slogging, raising skills and gathering wood and ore, why not have some help, test and use scripts to gather ore, wood, fish etc... and I would also like to develop my tamer into a peace tamer, perhaps even try a script with the odd skill that I have not yet mastered and at the same time hopefully learn enougth to try wite my own scripts.
