Just getting back to uo after about 1 1/2 years off. Glad to see the scripting community is still around. I left for 3d gaming and found a general lack of content anywhere. So i can back to UO. I am already finding myself enjoying mmo's again. So will see you around on the boards.

What 3d games were you playing?

I tried WOW,Age of Connan, Warhammer, Lord of the rings. Pretty much anything released. But I just missed the depth involved in UO.

Wow, you were all over the place.  I do agree 100% with you.  Just about every one of the mentioned games has that level treadmill that I finally just got totally disgusted with.  For me it was Everquest, DAoC and WoW.  I'm currently playing WoW, but these days I'll log in, wander around for 5 minutes and log out.  I probably won't even be reupping the account for next month.

Yeah I got all the way to lich king and got to like 73 with my tankadin and just quit. It was way to boring and same ole same ole

WOW was a time sink for me as well, I played close beta, all the way through to WOTLK, with year breaks in between.  I didn't like the community of brats or the elitist raiding snobs.

I still have fun playing WoW but it's only been a couple of months. I'm pretty confident that end-game will end up killing it for me if I actually keep playing that long. I haven't even installed BC yet, forget WOLK.
