thank you for posting all this info up here cerveza.  I have been testing and trying out most of these programs and techniques because my wife wants to learn more about photo editing and be able to do as she wishes with the photos as kind of a hobby.

got any sites that show how learn more about photography.. I just got myself the Nikon D40, a AF-S DX VR Zoom Nikkor 55-200mm Lens, and a few lens filters.  I have almost no idea what I just said.
