Hello,
My name is Michael... Originally Xenoth, and recently changed to Ohstahpit.
I was born in 1990 and started gaming around 94 or 95 roughly on a super nintendo. My family was heavily into gaming and it wasn't hard for me to find my way within the gaming world as well.
Once UO was released my whole family was sucked in, starting with my grandmother who blessed us all with the game. Some of my earliest memories are that of brigand camps, slathered with the mandatory netzero banner across your screen that made their service free of use. My mom was a tamer who never really ventured beyond the general anti-virtue dungeons, while my aunt and uncle were very profound pks. I remember watching my aunt hijacking peoples boats pking them and taking everything in the boat for herself, which was quite the scene for "Stifflers Mom" which always gave her victims party members a chuckle when they had to announce who they were killed by. Watching them enjoy the freedom of the sandbox playstyle got me into pvp very early on, and a lot of my favorite memories of uo are that of guarding sigils for minax on napa valley. During the decline of uo, post AOS, my grandmother started her own server "Crystal Blue Persuasion" which she let me(at the time 14 years old) run rampant as a gm on. Looking back i applaud her for trusting me. Even if i crashed the server by layering to many items to the wrong slots. Having GM experience on my grandmothers server led me to being a gm on a couple other freeshards that never really amounted to anything. It was good fun regardless of the sincerity of the community at the time.
During the time my grandma's freeserver was run my aunt and uncle had come across a beta disc for a little game called World of Warcraft. My family being diehard uo addicts didnt take to it at first. Over time as the player base from CBP faded and other family members grew tired of filling out bod orders every day we eventually broke down and jumped ship to Azeroth. Once there I found myself completely immersed and spent over 50,000 hours in a place i'm sure you guys are already tired about hearing about so ill move on. I still found my way back to sosaria here and there Between Hybrid, UOF, and Outlands. I was the only one in my family who could never truly give up the game that had shaped my childhood, and the game i thank for a lot of my modern knowledge. Be it from knowing what a blacksmith is, to even things like representing the virtues in real life. I think I got guard whacked enough trying to steal at brit bank to have it drilled into my head that stealing was wrong.
Between WoW, and UO, I still found myself dabbling in every other game always seeking to find the void that uo had created years ago. From playing semi pro tournaments in Overwatch, to trying to find any sort of world where i could PK people without their consent. I don't think i'll ever find that game in my lifetime so here I am, back on Atlantic trying to script my way to gm remove trap and do some treasure hunting. I had never really done anything on uo outside of pvp. And was bored enough when I resubbed to figured it'll probably pique my interest longer if I delve into sides of the game that i've never actually given a chance. Now if only I could figure out why my house placement script keeps asking me if 0, 0 is the right tile. My ultimate goal, after listening to the audio version of Braving Britania(A great book I recommend to all) Is to find myself in possession of a castle. While I can enjoy the nooks and crannys of the games systems I never explored, i'm sure i'm not the only one who's just always wanted a castle. I think once that goal is achieved, my life in Britannia can finally find some peace. I'm sure as some of you read that you thought to yourself "hey man, there's tons of spots on lesser populated servers." Unfortunately as you may have guessed, Ultima also created a very competitive side of me. I am mentally unable to find value in places where there is no value to be had. Im sure there are still castles on other servers that are valuable, but I'll take my stubborn goal and set my sights on Atlantic.
Now that you've spent 15 minutes reading my wall of text about a game and features you guys are already aware of I suppose I could do you the favor of introducing myself.
As stated before, my name is Michael. Born in 90 I am 31 with a two year old son and a loving wife. I currently work for a local municipality in Colorado as a water treatment operator, which is a new development to my life. Ive worked everything from desk jobs to hard labor and never really found myself happy. Where as with water treatment I feel a sense of purpose, having the responsibility of providing communities with safe drinking water, it pays decent and so far I'm happy.
Despite all of the time i've accumulated gaming, i'm also very active outdoors. As I live in Colorado there's nothing out of reach. Ive always been big into action sports, starting with skateboarding when i was around 6 or 7. Skateboarding most of my life was a gateway drug that led me to becoming a hard core adrenaline junkie. If its fast and dangerous, ive done it. (except skydiving, not because I don't want to, I just haven't had the opportunity yet.) I enjoy Skiing, snowboarding, scootering, mountain biking, aggressive inline and everything similar. I also have a profound interest in motorcycles, despite selling mine recently as to prolong my life and not abandon my family. As it turns out owning a zx14r with over 200 horsepower and capable of over 200mph isn't the greatest way to keep yourself alive. I also enjoy building pc's for myself and friends. (not that that's a feat anymore considering everything's plug and play.) As well as dabbling in music Composition. My uncle introduced me to guitar when I was younger, and just like with skateboarding, guitar branched me out in the music world from playing mandolin, to creating electric music like dubstep and stuff.
Despite all this stuff that I do like, I don't like stand up comedy. It just feels forced, and I cant find it funny. Which is kind of bumming. And despite typing a half hour long introduction on this website, I'm rather introverted and generally tend to only speak when spoken to, unless we're good acquaintances.
So with all this useless knowledge i've presented before you, I hope it has been either satisfactory enough to make it into the community, or overly satisfactory enough to make it as a stickie of how not to do an introduction. Thanks for your time.
PS: I hope the title found you offguard for the wall of text you're looking at.
PSPS: I really enjoy swiss rolls.

PSPSPS: The smileys on your website are kind of awkward.
PSPSPSPS: Is what I say to get your cats attention.
Thanks.
Xenoth.
