Greetings, I'm Patrick, a proud father of two incredible kids, and at 35, I work in the construction industry. Like anyone, I need a way to unwind and release some steam. So, I thought, why not reconnect with my gaming roots and dive back into the world of Ultima Online?

It was over 15 years ago when my brother first introduced me to this captivating game. Those days hold some truly awesome memories for me. One particular adventure we embarked on involved a clever baiting strategy. I would roam around, dressed as a newbie, while my brother patiently awaited off-screen. Unsuspecting players would come rushing to "PK" me, but with a swift gear change and my brother's timely entrance, we would skillfully turn the tables, engaging in thrilling 2v1 encounters. The excitement and adrenaline rush were unparalleled—ooOooOoOo!

Another vivid memory that comes to mind is training my skills on a boat, embracing the freedom of exploration in a world with no safe zones. Those were the good old days, filled with a sense of limitless possibilities and the thrill of facing the unknown head-on.

Back then, I played the role of a powerful mage until I decided to switch things up and become a tamer, accompanied by my loyal white dragon companion, appropriately named Fluffy. Ahh, the adventures we shared!

Throughout my Ultima Online journey, the Atlantic shard has always been my home, a place where friendships blossomed and unforgettable experiences unfolded.

Although circumstances have changed, and life has presented its challenges, I now find myself returning to the game as a one-man army. Mental illness sadly separated me from my brother, and these have been some rough days indeed. That's why I decided to come back to the game, to relive those cherished memories, and find solace in the familiar.

While my ultimate aspiration is to one day create a three-player army, involving my children when they are old enough to join, for now, I encourage them to enjoy sports and revel in the wonders of the outdoors. Their time to embark on their own adventures will come.

So, here I am, ready to step back into the enchanting realm of Ultima Online, where dreams come alive, bonds are formed, and the spirit of exploration reigns supreme. It's a journey of rediscovery, a chance to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and create fresh memories that will stand the test of time.
