CREATIVE PHONE USAGE.

Ok so I was browsing SUO on my birthday phone... and was wondering who's got the coolest usage for their phone?  SUO or otherwise... anything interesting you've done with your phone?  Ease of use, browsing, UO whatever... I'm looking for the best ways to use my phone, besides replying to Cerveza while getting poked with a needle in my arm 20 times by a little oriental man with an attitude.

I kinda like the police scanner on my phone.  Also my HP calculator emulator kicks butt!

I still have the old style phone that you have to turn to dial. I like that one the best.   NAH just kidding. but my phone is just so plain. thinking of getting the Droid in November

I played with a Droid this weekend/last week.  They are pretty nice.  The navigation is nice on them.  GPS navigation on your phone better than most car navs.  heh  I love flipping around maps with my thumb on a phone... and pinpointing your location?  Nice.  Also, there's an app on the Droid that lets you TAKE A PICTURE of something, and then it looks it up online!  It's some google thing.  Google Goggle?  Pretty nice app. heh

Best Android Stuff:

Navigation (by Google):
- You can layer "Satellite" on top of the GPS map so you can see what it should look like up ahead! It's AWESOME!! Also does a much better job than Sprint Navigation and AT&T Navigator

LogMeIn Ignition (for Android):
- Nothing like being able to remotely control your PC at home from a touchscreen phone!

USAA Deposit@Mobile (only for USAA members):
- This app only works for members of USAA bank which is only available to certain branches of the US military.
- I can deposit a check by simply opening the app, entering the amount, taking a picture of the front, taking a picture of the back, and hitting Submit! Funds are instantly available. No bank is better than that! (Also works on iPhone)

Sportacular (also available on iPhone):
- Best complete sports live scores, standings, stats, news, etc!
- Has info for almost every sport!!
- EASY interface!

Now that's what I'm talkin about.   I think so far, google goggle, and that multiplayer game are the best things I've found. heh  For sheer fun factor, nothing beats taking a picture of something stupid just to see what google says about it when you're bored. heh

Google has their "Market Place" where most everything is presented for you to purchase/download.  There's tons of free applications; I have only paid for one thing so far(my internet tether app.).  I'm constantly finding all kinds of cool applications, but the ones I mentioned I found by browsing the marketplace.

If you are looking for a MMO game thats free there is a game called Parallel Kingdom its pretty fun it uses google maps as the field you play on I'm addicted to it when im not playing UO

I own a Mytouch though T-Mobile and its awesome, any Android IMO is a great phone unless you own the new Iphone 4 that just spanks just about everyhting on the market. The GPS saves my ass when im traveling and looking for something there is almost an app for EVERYTHING, very customizable alot of fun plus if you get bored or want to make it crazier and your decent at tech stuff you can always root your phone which allows you to do some crazy stuff and use programs they normally wouldnt use

Looking back at the first Apple computer commercial, I'm shocked to see how the shoe is on the other foot now.  Which bald, pin-striped dude are you Naz?  I'll bet you're the one who can't upgrade his memory, or can't download 3rd party apps without fear of "The Man" taking you away late at night.
