It is obtained by killing gypsies, appears on their corpse and it was just revealed that it has a 1-in-25,000 chance of spawning (slightly better than the Detroit Lions winning the Super Bowl in my lifetime!).  The jewelry changes colors with the phases of the moon, and while it has no stats upon spawn, it has been stated by UHall posters (not by Devs) that it can be imbued.  From what I read, you can also get a ring, a bracelet, a necklace, or earrings, although I have not gotten any myself, so I cannot confirm any of the posted information.

it has zero mods but has a nice name and i think blue color.  I saw a post when one was first obtained over 3 or so months ago.  since then there was a craze that moved to a sense of disbalief.  at least now we know it is still active.  I think folks gave up that it was still working.  It was the big surprise when they made the changes to random gypsy camps.

with a rate of 1:25000, i wonder what it is worth to rare collectors.

30+ mil seems to be the range in which those rare guys are paying.  Personally I think the earings have the most value as they don't take a slot and can be seen, brac is next and the ring is last.

Even nice if they spawn bank checks. But that means they could not be gypsies then must be spies or something. You would never catch a gypsy with a check book.

They randomized the spawn points so they spawn all over the fel and tram lands in random locations.  i see them around moongates often.

they spawn all the time in front of the my guild castle, sucks now that I moved away from them.

I heard from a good source that the Gypsy NPC camps actually track Players so they spawn anywhere near where a player has been for over 15 mins.  In more clear terms if you stay in one area for more than 15 mins you will start getting gypsy spawn there.
