Hello !

Im trying to make trapped box but dont understand what i have to change...when i started play i receive message : No Chests Located, Please set the Type for the chests you wish to use...

So i can see : set %Chest_Types JIF_CKF
                    ; Types For the Chests you wish To fill
                    set %Secure SJYAPMD
                    ; Chest with Iron, Wood, Bolts

i remove JIF_CKF by KIF_JIF  ( i found type chest code : Wooden Chest --- KIF    JIF differnet facing direction

i dont know if at  set %Secure SJYAPMD is good ?

But when i play nothing appear after since i change code :(
Plz can you help me to understand what i have to do to use this script :-)

i dont know if at  set %Secure SJYAPMD is good ?

The %secure xxxxxxx has to be changed to your secure id - use trail's program to find the id quickly

Did you change to %secure to the secure you have your boxes in?

i tried with this secure and all is good now: i used a bag (round)from NPC

set %Chest_Types JIF_CKF
; Types For the Chests you wish To fill
set %Secure AUGIQQD
; Chest with Iron, Wood, Bolts

Just saw this. Yeah, the issue was that it couldn't find the Chests to fill! Glad to see you figured it out.

Well for some reason I cannot get it to work I may need someone to break out the crayons.


This is what I have

set %Chest_Types JIF_CKF

I have also had

; Types For the Chests you wish To fill
set %Secure TPHLYSD


I have tried a backpack round bag Wooden Chest.


I've put the chests in a secure on the ground in my backpack lol

It's been ages but I wanted to play a little again...this puppy won't run though, has anything changed?

Hmm... Should still work I just need to Edit out Relocking the Chests. You just can't "Relock" them anymore.

It was weird, did all the checks and then just sat around...I wasn't sure where the issue was but it certainly could have been on my side.
Nope!  I'm doing what all the real PvPers do:  Scripting everything except the running away part!  I'm real good at that already...

I have been running your script for a few hours on osi. works nice but I had a few issues.

 my first, I set my container types and then my secure id and it would just throw the finished boxes in my garbage. this I easily fixed by just replacing the conttype to contid instead.

my second, every now and then a box will go thru the trap process then go into the garbage anyways. I took a few out and they aren't actually trapped so im glad it dosnt go to the secure with the rest but I was wondering why it does that.

last,  the finished boxes are always mage locked. im sure this is an old script but on osi you can no longer set off the trap without the container being unlocked. I have a bad memory and I know I will never remember to unlock the boxes every time I grab one.... its going to get me killed and then I will shake my fist and curse your name in vent probly.  ;)

I have been messing around deleting lines trying to get the script to stop doing the final mage spell lock on the chest and just leave it unlocked, howerver I am not well versed in script writing so its a lot of shots in the dark so to speak and I cant get it to work correctly. any way you could tell me what to delete specifically?

my sanity thanks you for this script, because making trapped boxes by hand is for the birds.
