HI,
My wife and I have been playing UO for less than a week now, but are having a lot of fun. My step-dad, insanely long time player, talked me into playing it, and my wife is awesome, so she joined in with me. My wife and I have played MMOs together since before we even got married almost 7 years ago, but this is the first time we have played one with my step-dad. It's nice having someone who has lots of experience with the game, although it seems there's quite a bit that he doesn't even know. He says a lot has changed since he last played. I totally understand him being a little lost, because I kept making and remaking characters trying to figure things out. I really like the one I have now. I've been putting a lot of work into it. I just got disconnected about 2 hours ago, and when I finally got back in, I was dead with no body to loot.
Anyways... Even though I lost a ton of stuff, I still want to keep playing, but I'd like to work with scripts while I do. I've done some minor work on LUA scripts for other games, so hopefully I won't have too much trouble using them for UO.
